An increasing number of experiments is searching for new particle physics outside the range of high-energy colliders.
New particles could be hiding at comparably low mass but very weak coupling and are hypothesized to explain Dark Matter.
In my talk I will introduce the motivation and search for axion-like particles coupled to photons. I will detail in particular on an ongoing search at the NA62 experiment at CERN.
