Lattice QCD and the Standard Model coupling constants

I will review the status of lattice calculations of the strong coupling constant, \(\alpha_s(M_Z)\). Second, I will discuss the lattice calculations of the leading hadronic contribution to the running of the electromagnetic coupling constant \(\alpha(Q^2)\) and the weak mixing angle \(\sin^2\theta_W\). The (closely related) leading hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon will be briefly reviewed.
