The radiative return: an important tool in studies of hadron-photon interactions
Prof. Henryk Czyz (University of Silesia, Polen)

The scope of the seminar is to introduce the radiative return method and show that it can serve as a tool at any e+e- machine with a decent luminosity. It starts with motivations, shows theoretical bases of the method as well as its potential problems. The way how to overcome the problems is also sketched. The method originally developed for the hadronic cross section measurement at meson factories can also be used for more detailed studies of hadron interactions. Few examples of such studies are presented. A Monte Carlo event generator PHOKHARA constructed to help in experimental analyses is shortly described.
