Heavy Quarks in QCD: Color meets Flavour

The heavy quark mass limit has become a standard tool in Bottom and Charm Physics. After a short introduction into the theoretical ideas, a few applications are considered. Emphasis is lead in the treatment of charm in this framework, as this may become an interesting topic at future facilities, such as PANDA and a future Super Flavour Factory.
