The beta-beam project in the EURISOL context

As a possible scenario for the next generation ISOL-type facilities, the beta-beam project and its connectivity to EURISOL is actively studied. This presentation will gather from the different working groups the current ideas that are discussed concerning the physics reach, the beam and accelerator requirements of such a facility. A special focus will be set on the beam preparation needed for producing the intense beams of beta-decaying isotopes.
