Stabilized optical frequency combs have revolutionized modern spectroscopy by providing a direct link between optical and radio frequencies. In addition to providing a method for measuring the frequency of cw lasers, they provide an intriguing light source for spectroscopy. I will discuss the application of direct frequency comb spectroscopy to the study of two-photon transitions in atomic vapors and present the results of a recent measurement in atomic potassium that illustrates the precision that can be achieved through direct frequency comb spectroscopy.
