Deformation of Skyrmion Crystal under Strain and under Driving Current
Junichi Iwasaki (Department of Applied Physics, University of Tokyo, Japan)

Manipulation of spin textures has been attracting a broad interest from the viewpoints of both fundamental physics and applications over decades. In particular, the control magnetic skyrmions is one of the hottest topics. In the first part of my talk, I will talk about the static deformation of skyrmion crystals under uniaxial strain revealed by the Lorentz TEM observation. This experimental result is analyzed by the model with an anisotropic Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, which shows a good agreement with the experiment. In the next part, I will discuss the dynamical deformation of skyrmion crystals under a driving current and the corresponding suppression of the Bragg peak intensities, which we expect to be measured by neutron scattering experiments.
