Effective Quantum Gravity: Applications to Cosmology, Gravitational Waves and Black Holes

In this talk I will review recent progress in our understanding of quantum gravity within the framework of effective field theory. I will then describe applications to model building in inflation (in particular Higgs/Starobinsky inflation), gravitational waves and black holes.
