Precision and Accuracy for Excellent Research
Prof. Dr. Michael Maskos (Fraunhofer ICT-IMM, Mainz)

The steadily increasing demand for precise and accurate sensor systems to meet the future challenges described by e.g. the new high tech strategy of the federal government is mirrored by excellent research at universities and research institutes. Fraunhofer ICT-IMM develops solutions to meet these desires based on microtechnology. Examples are provided including bolometers for plasma radiation, high precision slit systems for spectrometers and many more, all bridging the gap from basic research to applications.
