Surface critical exponents from the Conformal Bootstrap

We explore the consequences of crossing symmetry for conformal field theories in the presence of a boundary, which is a model for surface critical behavior. After reviewing the possible surface transitions associated with a bulk universality class, we will proceed to estimate surface critical exponents numerically. Our results show good agreement when compared with other methods, like Monte Carlo simulations and epsilon expansion calculations.
