Highlights on Dark Matter complementarity

We review what dark matter complementarity is really all about, and stress some features concerning this paramount complementarity approach in the light of current and upcoming projected results.
We will particularly highlight intriguing signals from gamma-ray searches that might be connected to the presence of dark matter in our galaxy.
