Exploring models beyond the MSSM with public computer tools
Florian Staub (Bethe Center for Theoretical Physics, Bonn University)

I will briefly introduce the B-L-SSM and show how the phenomenology of this model was studied using public computer tools. For this purpose the model was implemented in the package SARAH and a new SPheno module for a precise mass spectrum calculation based on a constrained GUT thoery was obtained. SPHeno was also linked to HiggsBounds to check the current constraints from Higgs searches and to MicrOmegas to study the properties of the new dark matter candidates in this model. The impact of kinetic mixing on Z-prime searches at the LHc was pointed our using WHIZARD. Finally, the stability of R-parity in this model was checked with Vevacious. I will comment on the possibility to use the SUSY-Toolbox scripts to perform similar studies for a wide range of models beyond the SM and MSSM based on a single implementation of the model in SARAH.
