Note: Precedent to Prof. Köpke's talk a short discussion is planed, concerning the formalities and possible further topics of this semester's Friday Seminar.

Neutrinos faster than light? Experimental aspects.
Prof. Dr. Lutz Köpke (ETAP)

I will briefly explain the principle of the OPERA measurement of the neutrino velocity, the prospects for similar measurements by OPERA competitors, as well as existing experimental constraints on absolute neutrino velocities and possible Lorentz violating differences in the asymptotic velocities of different neutrino species. Finally I will discuss two attempts for experimental explanations for the observed -60 ns time shift currently under discussion.
