Many models of new physics that have the potential to be seen at the LHC show a remarkably similar phenomenology. For example, both Supersymmetry and models with Universal Extra Dimensions solve the hierarchy problem and predict a doubling of the standard model particle content. However, an unambiguous difference between the two models is the spin of the new particles that may be discovered. We discuss methods that may be able to measure the spin of the new states at the LHC and thus determine the model of new physics.
