Vector boson fusion: The MSSM, electroweak corrections and VBFNLO
Sophy Palmer (KIT Karlsruhe)

One of the primary goals of the LHC is to investigate the method of electroweak symmetry breaking. Higgs production via vector boson fusion (VBF) is an extremely promising channel, both as a discovery method and as a means of studying the Higgs boson and its couplings.
The electroweak corrections to this process, in both the Standard Model and MSSM, are important - they are of the same order of magnitude as the QCD corrections, and need to be considered in order to make accurate predictions for this channel. The new release of VBFNLO includes the electroweak corrections to VBF Higgs production in the SM and (complex) MSSM, as well as many new important signal and background processes at NLO QCD level, together with various other BSM effects.
