Quantum black holes: the effect of a minimal length
Piero Nicolini (University of Frankfurt)

By implementing an effective minimal length in Einstein equations, we will present a new class of quantum gravity corrected spacetimes, describing both neutral and charged black holes. We will also analyze the above new solutions in the presence of extra dimensions and their relevance for the conjectured production of mini black holes in extreme energy hadron collisions. Finally we will discuss recent developments and possible connections with other approaches in this field.
