Canonical Group Quantization
Florian Jung (THEP, Institut für Physik, Mainz)

Canonical Group Quantization is a quantization method that can handle non-trivial phase spaces. After explaining the problems with conventional quantization, I will describe how the so-called Canonical Group arises from group actions on phase space. Afterwards I'm going to give an overview of the general quantization scheme, including some examples.
