Feshbach resonances in a Fermionic Mixture of Lithium and Potassium
Dr. Florian Schreck (Institut für Quantenoptik und Quanteninformation, Innsbruck)

We create mixtures of fermionic Lithium, Potassium and Strontium with the goal to study the BEC-BCS crossover of heteronuclear systems.
Currently we are analyzing the up to now unknown interaction properties of Lithium with Potassium by searching for interspecies Feshbach resonances. This should enable us to find suitable conditions for LiK molecule creation.
